Email creation and management

Email management can be found on the Plesk control panel's home page under the "Mail" tab. You can add new email addresses for your website, modify existing ones, and remove unnecessary ones. Email settings can only be changed by the main user or a user with the appropriate role allowing settings modification.

Creating an email address:

The "Create Email" option can be found on the Plesk control panel's home page under the "Mail" tab. Fill in the required fields. You can specify additional settings for the email during creation or modify the settings later.

Email forwarding:

You can enable email forwarding during email creation or by editing the email settings later. Go to the email section in Plesk and select the account for which you want to change the forwarding settings. You can forward emails to another address within your domain or to an external email address. Separate multiple addresses with line breaks, spaces, commas, or semicolons.

Email aliases:

You can enable email aliases during email creation or by editing the email settings later. Aliases are used when you want to redirect emails sent to non-existent addresses but potentially receive mail to your actual mailbox. For example, for old deleted email accounts or common misspellings.

Autoresponder:

You can enable the autoresponder during email creation or by editing the email settings later. The autoresponder automatically sends a pre-written email response to incoming emails. It can be used to inform others about a vacation or upcoming email address change, for example.

Changing the email account password:

You can change the password for an email account under the "Mail" tab. Click on the email account for which you want to change the password and enter the new password. Email settings can only be changed by the main user or a user with the appropriate role allowing settings modification.

Deleting an email account:

To delete an email address, select the checkbox next to the email address (you can select multiple emails at once). Click on "Remove" and confirm the action.
