The Trust Seal installed on your website utilizes data from the SiteLock scanners installed on the site. If the scans are clean and no vulnerabilities are found, the Trust Seal will display a "Passed" message along with the date of the most recent clean scan. If the "Passed" message shows an old date, it is recommended to check the frequency of the scans.
If the scanners detect malware or vulnerabilities on the site that are not fixed within 72 hours of discovery, the Trust Seal will automatically disappear. Once the issues are resolved, the Trust Seal will reappear on the site.
When you click on the Trust Seal on the website, a new window will appear with the following information:
Company Name - Displays the name of your company.
Domain – Shows the domain name of your website.
Phone – Indicates whether you have verified your phone number with SiteLock.
Address - Indicates whether you have verified your address with SiteLock.
Verified spam-free – Displays the date of the most recent clean spam scan.
Verified malware-free - Displays the date of the most recent clean malware scan.
Secure SSL - Displays the date when the SSL scan was conducted.
Installation of the Trust Seal:
Click on the shield icon in the upper right corner of the SiteLock management panel (shown on the left in the image).
On the next page, you will see three options. Click on each option to configure its settings. Once you have reviewed and customized the settings for each section, click "Next" to proceed to the next step.
Choose a language: Select the language in which you want the Trust Seal to appear on your website from the dropdown menu. Once you have made your selection, click "Next" to continue.
Choose color, size, and style: Customize the color, size, and style of the Trust Seal. You can preview different options on the right side of the page. After making your selections, click "Next" to continue.
Note: The Trust Seal cannot be customized in ways other than the options provided.
a. Color – Choose between red and white. This changes the color of the Trust Seal in the bottom bar where it says "Passed" in the example image.
b. Size – Choose between small, medium, and large. This changes the size of the Trust Seal.
c. Style – Choose between "Secure" or "Malware Free" to be displayed in the Trust Seal. "Secure" option is available in the Advanced package, otherwise, only "Malware Free" is available.
Install Trust Seal
Copy the code provided in step 3 to your website.
After copying the code to your website, click "Save Configuration Settings". The Trust Seal will appear on your website within 24 hours.
